Bosco Hogan was an actor who was familiar with the qualities it takes to bring a drama to the big screen. Hogan began his acting career by participating in dramas like "Zardoz" (1974) starring Sean Connery, "A Portrait of the Artist As a Young Man" (1977) with Bosco Hogan and John Gielgud and the Craig Wasson film "The Outsider" (1979). He also appeared in "Anne Devlin" (1984) with Brid Brennan and Bosco Hogan. He had an early role on the television special "Count Dracula" (PBS, 1977-78). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Kidnapped" (1995-96). He also starred in the TV movies "The Tale of Sweeney Todd" (Showtime, 1997-98) and "The Treaty" (PBS, 1997-98). He also worked in television around this time, including a part on "A Taste For Death" (PBS, 1989). He also had roles in film during these years, including roles in the Daniel Day-Lewis biopic drama "In the Name of the Father" (1993) and "Some Mother's Son" (1996). Hogan put his acting skills to use in films like the comedic drama "Evelyn" (2002) with Pierce Brosnan and "King Arthur" (2004) with Clive Owen. He also was featured in the TV movies "The Magnificent Ambersons" (A&E Network, 2001-02) and "My Boy Jack" (PBS, 2007-08). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "Primeval" (BBC, 2006-2012) and "The Tudors" (Showtime, 2006-2010). Most recently, Hogan acted on "The Borgias" (Showtime, 2010-13).
