Mission Impossible 2 turns out to be the weakest in the franchise due to its weak screenplay and some unnecessary sequences. Despite that its power-packed finale and fight choreography are the saving grace.

The only things this movie has going for it are the actress, Thandiwe Newton, and the hilarious over use of the masks. I was rolling with laughter at the terrible plot and awful script. Thank goodness Bad Robot took this series over.

Generally regarded, incorrectly in my view, as the worst of the series. Yeah its extremely convoluted but given that this is basically "Notorious" with slow motion doves and face swaps that's hardly surprising. Woo is sort of perfect for this franchise, the only real disappointment is that his vision was somewhat compromised.
