Dwight Brown National Newspaper Publishers Association In the beginning you'll think something is missing from Mission: Impossible-Rogue Nation. Excitement. Audacity. Edge. Visual splendor. Be patient. In it's own way, this action/thriller eventually gets the job done. Mar 15, 2017 Full Review Max Weiss Baltimore Magazine If Jason Bourne is our most brooding spy and James Bond is our suavest, then IMF agent Ethan Hunt is our most intense, the one most willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Ronald R. Great Movie!! Highly Recommended!! A++ 🍿🎥🍿 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/10/25 Full Review e6e6e e Rogue Nation is a near-perfect action film, blending jaw-dropping stunts with razor-sharp direction. Tom Cruise’s fearless commitment, especially in the unforgettable plane-hanging sequence, sets the tone Rated 5 out of 5 stars 08/03/25 Full Review Ibrahima C One of the best in the franchise Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/30/25 Full Review Ajay M This is one of my 2 favorite Mission Impossible Movie of all time together with Fallout. This film is just a perfection to me. The best actor of all time Tom Cruise really knows how to make an amazing movie. The Action Scenes, the Cast, everything about this film is awesome, the storyline, everything is perfect. This is definitely one of the best film I have ever seen in my entire existence. This movie is a definition of perfection. I Love Tom Cruise and Mission Impossible Movies!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/25/25 Full Review Ryan H Another solid entry into the franchise. Although a bit of a come down after Ghost Protocol, it’s still solid entertainment. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/21/25 Full Review Vixo S The Game Continues Without Surprise. Rogue Nation struck me as a competent but detached chapter, as if the franchise were staring into a mirror, unwilling to alter its reflection. Christopher McQuarrie directs with skill and steady pace, ensuring every scene performs its function—but within a mold we’ve seen before: well-staged chases, betrayals, infiltrations, all under a familiar rhythm that shies away from risk. It plays like a polished extension of J.J. Abrams’ approach, yet with less appetite for discovery or reinvention. The introduction of The Syndicate adds an intriguing layer, though the concept feels more suggested than fully explored, as if present to justify the stakes without truly deepening them. Rebecca Ferguson brings a breath of fresh air, escaping the typical sidekick mold, while the rest of the cast remains comfortably within known parameters. The film entertains, and does so effectively. But following the visual energy of Ghost Protocol, this installment feels more restrained, relying on formula rather than surprise. It doesn’t disappoint—but it doesn’t challenge either. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/20/25 Full Review Read all reviews
