Jack Bottomley Starburst Mister Creep feels authentic and atmospheric, suspensefully building its own lore and making its believable dark web-baiting internet mythology stand out, even when some well-worn horror tropes are present and correct. Logan L Genuinely creepy for a found footage B horror film. It’s purposefully unpolished presentation provides it with a chilling feel of authenticity, the lore established within works well for the plot, and the disjointedness of the way clips are played around each other gives this more of an air of being a sadistic killer’s fever dream than a traditionally structured 3 act film. Top that off with some generally good acting from the cast and this ended up being one of the best low-budget, creepy horror films I’ve seen in a minute.
