Yash B I think Mo Amer is a likable comedian and "Wild World" is a nice and timely comedy special. I don't think it is as strong as his very first Netflix special, but it is still worth watching. The commentary and perspective are important, and there are some solid laughs in here. Overall, it is a good comedy special for a comedian who is having a prolific year. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/29/25 Full Review Allan L I’ve always appreciated this comedian’s sharp, edgy humour — his previous show had bite, wit, and a glimmer of warmth that made me smile. But this time, it felt different. The focus seemed to shift almost entirely to him being the victim, and the result was more sad than funny. What could have been a clever exploration of human experience turned into a long, angry rant — even turning something as beautiful as his child’s birth into another story about his own suffering. There was a moment where a doctor extended genuine kindness during that story, and instead of recognising it, he doubled down on bitterness. It felt like a missed opportunity — he could have made this show about humanity, optimism, or even redemption. Instead, it stayed stuck in self-pity and anger. I came hoping for the edgy humour that made his past work shine. Instead, I left feeling sorry for him. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/28/25 Full Review Read all reviews
