Great fun. A traditional Disney Princess film but with a little more depth to it, being abut personal discovery and bravery. Go to Full Review

It's a deeply moving and beautiful film that celebrates it's main character, her culture and her self-empowerment... but she could have been a lot more meaningful and authentic if she reflected and honored a specific Pacific Island culture. Go to Full Review

Faithful devotees to the original will believe that a live action iteration is unnecessary, but newcomers may prefer to see human beings instead of animated characters bring the action to life. Go to Full Review

Promoting powerhouse diversity and pushing away the trappings of romance, “Moana” is a progressive step carrying wonderful messages for young girls in a Millennial day-and-age that is too often obsessed with body image and glamour. Go to Full Review

Jodi Oct 27, 2023 Moana is absolutely destined to be a classic Disney film that will last through generations! This film is just so beautifully done, and so enjoyable, even for adults that don’t have children! There are so many positive messages without all the ridiculous fluff that accompanies a lot of other Disney animated films especially ones with princesses. Barf. Moana story is inspiring to any little girls showing them that they can believe in themselves and be whoever they’re meant to be love love love this film! See more Barnabas loos Oct 23, 2023 half way through the movie the theater lights turn back on and the movie stopped playing due to a huge rainstorm that was accruing outside apparently the who movie theater was shut down and they couldn't get any of the movies back on line most of everyone in the theater just ended up leaving I tried to get a refund but they said no due to it being passed the time to get one but we never got to see the rest of the movie I knew it was going to rain but I didn't think that it would of had that kind of affect on a whole theater the way that it did unless they have bad wiring in and out of the place or leaks that where coming through the ceiling into electrical equipment idk but it was wired and it was my first time being at this one despite driving passed this one for over 30 years I still would of liked a refund though I didn't even get to finish my drink that I had gotten just minutes before hand See more Katie D Mar 15, 2021 So good! the music reminded me of a combination of The Little Mermaid and Frozen - both favorites. I wouldn't be surprised if this wins Best Animated Feature Film this year! See more Cinema S @cinema_sensei 17 hrs ago I had a good time with this, especially because the animation is absolutely gorgeous and the ocean itself feels alive. The songs are fun, and Moana and Maui make a good pair. Still, the story felt very familiar and predictable, so it never became one of my favourite Disney films. Beautiful and enjoyable. Everything about it works the story, Maui, Te Fiti, Te Kā, the adventure, and even that iconic crab scene.
