Nina E It's an original concept but it kinda gave me a headache. I heard that the director himself wasn't pleased about the lighting. Also, we get to see Divine before they gave her that superhero look. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/20/23 Full Review Audience Member Täysin sekopäistä menoa alusta loppuun. Mitä lie vetäneet kuuppaan tätä tehdessään. OLis kyllä hauska tietää muistaako kukaan mitään tämän "leffan" teosta. Miten tätä edes arvostelee? Trashin ystävä antaa varmaan viisi tähteä. Joten piste Divine:lle ja piste Waters:lle. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review simon d Would get no stars if technically possible. In order to justify the "disturbing scenes" warning at the start the film kicks off with a man executing chickens. The film starts after this and contains no disturbing scenes. I nearly switched off straight away. John Waters really is a moron. The rest of the film is meant to be in the style of a silent film and I wish it would have been instead of the terrible recordings of surf rock and rock 'n roll songs spliced together like a suicidal jive-bunny who's also deaf. The story is almost non-existant and completely nonsense. All this to, aparently, make us laugh. FAIL. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member this movie could be shocking in the 70s, but has aged poorly. nowadays it feels silly. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Unique, disturbing, and slightly boring for a John Waters film but I still like it! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member I found it kind of boring, but it's hard to judge this film accurately 'cause it's so weird. I only cared about Divine, really.
