Chris M This is dumb even for a 1950s sci-fi horror movie. There was way to keep specimens cold, even in the 1950s. But it was a plot device for the movie. The prehistoric man effects are awful! The prehistoric dog and dragon fly on the other hand was quite impressive. I'm guessing they ate up most of the budget. There are character issues. But as really dumb drive in fair from the days of dumb drive in movies, you can do worse. It's dumb fun and worth checking out for fans of dumb drive in fare. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/23 Full Review georgan g Definitely one of those old sci fi flicks that is so bad, it's good. The mask for the monster was particularly funny. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm really not quite sure what I just sat through. LOL ð??? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member This film has a lot to recommend it to horror fans: itâ??s a well-done version of the archetypical Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde plot that gives us some mildly scary moments, some good lessons in how to be noble if youâ??re an accidental murderer, and possibly the first reference to gamma rays making a man more bestial and strong. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Essentially a sci-fi remake of the Wolf-man, so of course it lacks in comparison and doesn't feel all too original. The monster make-up is more fake-looking, but still neat to look at. The characters are a bit underdeveloped, but they get through the story just fine. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A good enough creature film, a science experiment gone wrong. Monster on the Campus has never received that much recognition. It starts out well but finishes very mediocre. A rip-off of Jekyll and Hide. But still interesting. Recommended! Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
