Chris K It's worth watching. It's a whole lot better than some overhyped remake of whatever the whatever. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/29/23 Full Review Martin B It's a B movie not good at all but a satisfying ending so not a waste of time by any means. Martin Sensmeier as Montford is a good looking guy but not a good actor. You can definitly see him saying his lines, maybe the timing off a bit none of which is a good thing. The movie seemingly a number of shoots, spliced together to roughly tell a story but the transitions clunky. Seemed like they put in action sequences thinking they were necessary but thsy didn't do much to make the movie better. The worst part is was how ham handedly corny it was. Really over the top especially at the end. A shame because the man the story was about deserved a lot better treatment then this move gave him. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/28/23 Full Review Gregory H Good cleanmovie with beautiful scenery—well acted by the main leads, and most of all tells a good narrative of Oklahoma of 1860s-1870s—and the story of a good man and important native American figure in the development and progress of the Old West and the foundation of ranching. A very good solid watch for anyone interested in not only Native Americans and their contributions to America but also a good and actually true Old West tale. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Frank M Good story which means the book was probably pretty good. Bad movie done by producer/directors who can't figure out that the one Conderate didn't have a Southern accent but everyone else did including the evil Union racist Sargent. One wants to contribute this to overlooked ignorance but concludes its the typical woke stereotypes that led them to choose a Southern accent for the bad guys who were again from up north and a California accent for the "good" Confederate who was from the (affectionately named) Dirty South. BTW, the Confederate dies early on. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review wiebe b It's an interesting story but the production and acting is mediocre at best. The plot is a bit mingled and lacks consistency. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review john f While the production and acting isn't always great, this is definitely a story worth telling, and from an indigeneous perspective nonetheless. More, please. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Roger Moore Movie Nation Tt's better than most of the B-Westerns that come down the pike most years, the leads impress and the action beats are first-rate-on-a-budget. Nov 29, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
