Made with only a fraction of your average Star Wars or Marvel movie, but does so much with (relatively little). Sam Rockwell is just fantastic given that he’s largely in the film on his own. A tremendous sci-fi movie. Go to Full Review

Simple and alien-free example of the sci-fi genre. Slow, but there are so many details deserving attention, the chance to take them all in one only enhances the experience. Go to Full Review

Moon is an old-fashioned sci-fi movie in the best sense: far more psychological drama than space opera, dispensing with overweening CGI and loud flashy action sequences while harking back to subtler, more ideas-driven entries in the genre. Go to Full Review

Rockwell gives a matchless performance that demonstrates anger, depression, humor, sadness, frustration, desperation, and even mild insanity. Being in almost every frame, he captures the audience completely Go to Full Review

Zach W. @alanwakeup25 Sep 24 If you haven’t seen this yet, please go watch it. My top 5 sci fi movies of all time. See more Jace T @CineChamber Aug 18 This movie left in awe when I first watched it. It is a very lonely and captivating story held together extremely well by Sam Rockwell. This is one of those films that I don't want to talk to much about as to not spoil the incredible journey that is on display here. All I can tell you is that this is a must watch. See more Dave C Aug 10 A truly engaging watch, with intellect and imagination driving the story. SR is brilliant in his central role(s), giving the story palpable humanity See more Eric S. @ericw Aug 7 Astonishing performance by sam rockwell. Just an absolutely amazing and poignant story. Character and storytelling shine. See more Miles T. @milestruman Aug 6 One of the best indie sci fi films. I loved it. See more Troy R Jul 31 Interesting concept if not a little predictable in how it played out. Sam Rockwell did a great job essentially acting by himself. The AI was an interesting unknown in the movie and its actions still have me thinking about it after the movie has ended. Interesting take on "ignorance is bliss" and how quick your motivation can change when realizing what your doing a meaningless in the grand scheme of the greater machine. Only downside was the predictability, but perhaps that's just due to the limits of this scifi trope. See more Read all reviews
