Audience Member It may have a rough start with its unlikeable lead and cliche (and sometimes crude) dialogue but Moon Point picks up on its spontaneous journey with good supporting characters and a good reveal in its final act. It should prove to be an enjoyable quirky film if not a comical or romantic one. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member One star for getting movie made and distributed for $75K. But the script is unimaginative and it felt like a student film. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member A very awesome, funny movie. Stephen Cole Globe and Mail Unfortunately, Moon Point's fresh, interesting ideas are compromised by an often mean and shallow script. Rated: 2/4 Feb 3, 2012 Full Review Bruce DeMara Toronto Star This movie is not funny, not even a bit. Rated: 1/4 Feb 2, 2012 Full Review Sarah Gopaul Digital Journal If you're like Darryl and you have "the attention span of a Ritalin kid in a toy store," Moon Point may not be the film for you. But if you're willing to dig a little deeper for the occasional shiny moment, definitely give it a shot. Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
