After a plane is forced to make an emergency landing in a powerful storm, several passengers -- including virtuoso pianist Ignacy Jan Paderewski (as himself) and devious swindler Mario de la Costa (Eric Portman) -- take refuge at the castle of Baroness Lindenborg (Marie Tempest). Eric Molander (Charles Farrell), a young local, desires Lindenborg's hand in marriage. His plans are complicated, however, by the charming de la Costa, who sets his own sights on the gorgeous noblewoman.
