Roger Ebert Chicago Sun-Times [Mimsy Farmer's] scenes are the best in the film. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other scenes that go nowhere. Rated: 2.5/4 Oct 23, 2004 Full Review Jesús Fernández Santos El Pais (Spain) Island and love, Ibiza and drugs are shallowly addressed, as in a naturalist film. Audience Member Of course, it was the soundtrack that interested me initially in this film. I watched it for the first time today, fifty-two years after its release. Regardless of the lapse of time since its release, the film still hold true and is a solid story with interesting characters and the acting isn't bad at all. The character of Estelle was a typical heroine addict and I had no sympathy whatsoever for her though Mimsy Farmer did an excellent job in the role. Stefan Brückner's character gained a little sympathy, but due to his severe stupidity lost it all halfway through the film. As a romance, the movie was a flop, but it was an interesting drama about the effects of various drugs. I would have liked to have seen more build up of the supporting characters, Charlie in particular. Loved it overall and will watch it again. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review delysid d its was very groovy man Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/22/21 Full Review Audience Member Dry and significantly uneven, Barbet Schroeder's independent directional-debut lacks tone and approach towards its subjects, which they're never really clear behind the pseudo-artistic esthetic surrounding an hybrid of a love story and a drug-addiction take, accompanied by bland and uninspired performances by its protagonists, but the weakest aspect of the film might relay on the general uninteresting-story progression that never really seems to go anywhere. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member More (1969) ?? 1/2 / ???? Mildly interesting look at two individuals who fall in love with each other, then with drugs. Not a total success, but not a total waste of time, either. Pink Floyd (credited as 'the pink floyd') wrote this film's soundtrack. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member Forgettable if not for the Pink Floyd soundtrack and the way the age is captured on film.
