Tim S I was surprised that kids aren’t annoying, and the dialogue seems ok to me. Then the best film of the trilogy finally for that final situation widely impeccable. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 07/16/24 Full Review Donny W Rebirth of Mothra 3 is the final chapter of the Mothra Trilogy and is arguably one of the best time-travel films in the kaiju genre. This film still sports the whimsical wonder of the rest of the trilogy, but its taken down a slightly darker path by making King Ghidorah the primary antagonist. The characters (both human and non-human) all have their own respective arcs, notably the Elias (Mothra's priestesses). Out of both the Godzilla and Mothra series, Moll, Lora, and Belvera are the most dynamic of any incarnation of Mothra's priestesses. The film sports some of the more interesting kaiju battles, showcasing both the versatility of Mothra and the malice of Ghidorah. Last but not least, this film boasts one of the best musical scores of any kaiju film by Toshiyuki Watanabe. This film (and the trilogy), while being aimed at a younger audience, stand out on their own as riveting giant monster movies. Worth watching! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Dean W Again with the kids... decent entry into the 90's rebirth series. Watch in original language as the dubbing is horrendous. I think the first of the series is the disappointment, but even that one has a decent ending. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Like "The Terminator" in reverse, Mothra travels back in time to preemptively defeat a younger version of Godzilla's greatest foe, the evil three-headed King Ghidora, who we learn from Mothr')s two diminutive priestesses that he's responsible for killing all of the dinosaurs and is now planning on killing the children of the world. So Mothra heads back in time to the "Land of the Lost" for kaiju-style fighting to stop Ghidora in a dinosaur-filled landscape. If you enjoy rubber-suited men pounding on each other on miniature sets, you'll very much enjoy this Mothra picture. It's nothing all the special, but for this type of film the special effects are solid, the story is serviceable, and and there was plenty of giant-monster-action. Here's to hoping Part 4 will revolve around Mothra having to get his parents to the Enchantment Under the Sea dance! Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The best film out of the Rebirth of Mothra trilogy, which isn't saying much, but it's really not god-awful like the second one was. Unlike the first two, it keeps an even and steady pace, although it is a bit on the slow side, but definitely not to the extent of the previous two. It takes itself appropriately seriously and fortunately there's no more scenes of caterpillars being flung into a woman's breasts, so that's a plus. It has the same running time as the second but feels half as long, and it's a legitimately entertaining hour and forty minutes. To be honest, it's almost worth slogging through the first two just to get to this one, because it's really not bad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member This is the 11th Mothra movie. Most of the Mothra movies made before it are better. This is better the then the 10th Mothra movie. That one is called Rebirth of Mothra 2. The 12th Mothra movie Godzilla Mothra and King Ghildarh giant monsters all out attack is better then this one. See all the Mothra movies. They are great scenes fiction films Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
