A young woman spends her days renovating the Victorian mansion that she lives in with her husband in the countryside. When a stranger knocks on the door one night, he becomes an unexpected guest in their home. Later, his wife and two children also arrive to make themselves welcome. Saw in theater, knew nothing about it but went for Jennifer Lawrence. The escalation of chaos took me by surprise and soon found myself totally triggered. If loss of control of your surroundings is a fear too, proceed with caution. My head was screwed up for hours afterward.

Such a hard watch. The best scripts/movies takes on a life of its own. Sending the audience into unknown territories and causing the the viewer to be vaught off huard about what comes next. This movie does the opposite. It is totally obvious what the director and writers are trying to get the audience to feel and feel like emotional manipulation toward the audience. Just a horrible movie.
