Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Considering the little information on this movie that I could find I was expecting some hot garbage, but that's not what I found. It's not horrifying enough to be a horror, but it's a little more scary than a thriller so it ends up somewhere in the middle. It's surprisingly entertaining and Heston puts in a great murderer performance. The pursuit of a jackpot can leave some people out of touch with reality, and the pursuit of money itself is something that people regularly kill for, so the premise of the film works well. The score is actually really good for a movie I'd never heard of (came in a pack of Heston films) and though there is a bit of cheese in the film it doesn't really bring the film down too much. The flying scenes at the beginning were really pretty and I enjoyed the shots a lot. Good little underrated film. Basically the story of a couple searching for Gold in Alaska & running into a mad Scotsman on a similar mission. Although it's low key & not sensational it's quite tense & keeps you on edge.
