Audience Member Where to begin? Rampant profanity substituted for acting and character development. Flawed writing that makes no sense: the cabin jump cut, why didnâ(TM)t they wait by the road for help. Garbage. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member The movie was decent but the ending could have been better. Should make a part 2 and show what happens. Who in their right mind ends a movie with a brother giving payment for a shop and then ending with the guy asking the girl if they can talk? Show the brothers going into business together. The guy and girl having a baby and the younger brother learning values of relationship or goin into survival guides. We all know he will mess up as a survival guide and it will be hilarious. He will get hooked on his brothers cookies and keep falling. Chasing sasquatch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Serge L Cute TV movie. Slow moving story as this happens in the mountain and is supposed to be opposite of New-York. Kind of realistic for two goofy brothers, a bit child like. I liked the simple but serious story line once the two got in real trouble. It worked. The acting was on a good level. Filmed relatively close to home, in Revelstoke, BC, Canada. 99% of the snow was real. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/17/17 Full Review Audience Member Too obvious and cheesy. Tyler Labine is the star and deserves better. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Good story third act goes a little slow but the characters are likeable and sincere. A few laughs the emotional scenes fall a little flat but you will not go wrong giving the movie a bit of your time. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review william s Somewhat tolerable comedy that leaves you as quickly as it ends. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times While some of the interpersonal revelations and inner character struggle feel decidedly familiar, treading the waters of the male coming-of-age tale, the setting is novel and the added dramatics of their adventure freshen the story. Jan 29, 2016 Full Review Ken Jaworowski New York Times There are three good laughs in "Mountain Men" and two modestly dramatic sections. That averages out to a decent moment every 18 minutes. Jan 28, 2016 Full Review Marjorie Baumgarten Austin Chronicle Writer/director Cameron Labine finds a trail that feels reasonably fresh, due in no small measure to the warm comedic talent of co-star Tyler Labine. Rated: 2.5/5 Jan 28, 2016 Full Review Avi Offer NYC Movie Guru A refreshingly heartfelt, warm and tender film. Rated: 8/10 Jan 31, 2016 Full Review José Teodoro NOW Toronto Fleet and likeable. Rated: 3/5 Sep 9, 2015 Full Review Catherine McIntyre National Post In Mountain Men, Labine and his cast achieve a hard-to-strike balance of comedy and heart-felt drama while maintaining a subtleness that respects your adult attention span.
