Marc K Very slow moving sci-fi flick that actually is a good tale, but the director takes too long to get us there Rated 2.5/5 Stars •  Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 08/31/24 Full Review James M I’ve never left a bad review before (if you can’t say something nice don’t say anything at all, kind of attitude), but this movie has cost two hours of my life that I’ll never get back. It feels like it’s written by an eighteen year old first-year uni student, with touches of 70’s sci-fi spandex which I think is supposed to be cliche of some kind. “We have no emotions, no love, no fear. We have watched with envy…” not to quote exactly. I guess envy was missed off the list. Anyway… The storyline is poor and certainly not a unique one; a single human responsible for the fate of all man-kind. The acting, I genuinely think was done for free, and was worth every penny. I think that this maybe started out with good intentions, and could have been a great short-film as a metaphor for life, which I think it does provoke is a minor way. Otherwise, it has scored a 1.5 stars only because I have actually seen worse films… although none spring to mind.
