Stan L I liked the deep message about faith and hope. The last name intrigued me "Maki" as I had a PASTOR by that name, and I'll be sharing this him and his wife. Rated 4/5 Stars •  Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/18/24 Full Review Audience Member Where to start, I do not want o be mean, this movie is acted in directed and written by a pastor and filmed / edited by his son probable with one camera I mean them no offence. However here is my honest review. horrible camera work, no exposure or lighting control edits angles and framing all very bad. Seems like a school video project. Really, really, really bad acting. The script is not believable, I found myself repeatedly saying, no one would do that, that is not how someone would react, things out of order random cuts to items that made no sense or have any reference to the scene. Most all of the actors are about in line with kids who have memorized a script for a middle school play. With lines written in a hurry. I could go deeper but it doesn't get better. It moves to slow and takes so long to get to the point I doubt few will watch if start to finish with out the fast forward button. All this said it is as low budget as it gets using locals active for free, I'm guessing perhaps if you watch if from that perspective and are patient perhaps you might find something in it. It would not be hard to find something better to watch, so only watch this to see how good an effort these folks were able to muster in 2015.
