isla s I thought this was a delightful, quirky and decidedly amusing British film - it features a very British sense of humour/type of comedy. I found myself feeling quite sorry for Mrs Caldicots situation - I was rooting for her when she reacted in a less than expected manner to her husbands death and even moreso when she rebelled against the old folks home. It has a gentle feel to it, as it is very much a (as I say) British film but thats not necessarily a bad thing. If your wondering about the film title and how that relates to the plot, with no mention of farmland or food, then I can tell you that it does have a meaning specifically relating to the old folks home but I won't provide a spoiler by explaining what it is - you'll have to watch it to find out!. Its fair to say it has aged a bit with the music played - infact I was surprised its as recent as from 2003, as while watching it on TV I assumed it was from sometime between the mid 80s and the early 90s but apparently not!. Also there are perhaps some cheesy aspects to it but for the most part I enjoyed it and I certainly thought it was, overall, a decent, good film. Would I recommend it? yes, I would. A very important issue, but shared with great joy, love, and respect. I love it. Dr Coleman is a national treasure. Listen to whatever he says, about health, covid, you name it.
