Keka It really touches the heart barring the drama.. and portrays an immigrants life in the true colour. Above all it highlights the interpersonal relationships in an Indian family. I really wish the key villain, the husband has been brought to justice and properly punished. Also if only the Indian govt had added a financial bonus to Mrs Chatterjee to help take care of her 2 children!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/09/23 Full Review Ketan J I thought it was over dramatic but looking into the reality after watching the movie, I understand their depiction of events and applaud their boldness. Great acting, important message, moving delivery. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/22/23 Full Review Pranab Highly sensitive topic. Rani's acting is superb. Worth to watch it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/22/23 Full Review Yash B "Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway" is a movie that is pretty much difficult to watch all the way through. The movie doesn't give the viewer much time at all to settle in or get to know the characters, but it does do a good job of still leaving an impact. The movie is definitely carried by an actress like Rani Mukerji who has proven time and time again she is a true Bollywood talent. I do feel sometimes the movie is a bit relentless and drags, particularly with its use of songs, which are repetitive and just designed to make the viewer more bummed about what is depicted. Overall, this is a movie that kept me engaged and despite being a tough watch, it feels important and tells its story mostly well enough to make it worth the experience. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Jack D Amazing movie full of emotion and based on a true story that unfortunately happens every day. It does an excellent job of portraying the horrors of living under a secular extremist regime and why people should stand up against them. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Abhijeet P It's only watchable because of Rani Mukherjee's realistic portrayal of depressed, helpless mother seeking her children's authority 💝 that's really outstanding. Everything else is like melodramatic average tv drama. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 09/02/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint I wanted to feel more, or at least feel something, for the anguish of these parents separated from their children. I wanted to root for Debika as she fought for the return of her children... Mar 16, 2023 Full Review Namrata Joshi Screen International Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway counts upon the virtuoso Rani Mukerji in the titular role to win the day, but remains mired in melodrama despite its true-life origins. Mar 16, 2023 Full Review Ellen E Jones Guardian Even a woman as sympathetic and strong-willed as Mrs Chatterjee can’t carry a two-hour plus film alone. Rated: 2/5 Mar 13, 2023 Full Review Ishita Sengupta OTTplay The problem with Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is that even as an obviously manipulative, emotionally rousing film, it fares poorly. The fault lies as much in the filmmaker’s rendition as in her interpretation. Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Alistair Lawrence Common Sense Media In an energetic but clumsy retelling, director and co-writer Ashima Chibber only gives us surface-level characters, which exist to serve a story that feels like it's been both embellished and simplified for the silver screen. May 31, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation If you’ve ever been a parent, it’s almost guaranteed to outrage you and sometimes tug at the heartstrings.
