It's no surprise that a script this addicted to fortune cookie utterances would fall short on presenting a sane, realistic version of China. Go to Full Review

If it were any more trivial, it'd be invisible. Mulan II is, rather, more conceptually offensive. Go to Full Review

Bryan A. @Timmaryturner 1d The main villain in the Disney movie Pocahontas is Governor John Ratcliffe. Governor Ratcliffe in Pocahontas Role and Motivation: Ratcliffe leads the English expedition to the "New World" as the British governor of the Virginia Company. He is primarily motivated by an insatiable greed for gold and power, and he hopes to win favor with King James back in England. Villainy: Unlike villains with magical powers, Ratcliffe's villainy stems from his ruthlessness, arrogance, manipulation, and intense prejudice against the Native Americans, whom he views as "savages" and obstacles to his goals. Fate: After his attempt to start a war and shoot Chief Powhatan is thwarted by John Smith and Pocahontas, his own men turn on him, tie him up, and send him back to England to face justice. He returns in the direct-to-video sequel, Pocahontas II: Journey to a New World, where he is finally arrested for treason. Connection to Descendants 2 Governor Ratcliffe has a son named Rick Ratcliffe, who is introduced in the novel The Isle of the Lost, a prequel to the Descendants movies. While Governor Ratcliffe himself is not a primary villain in Descendants 2, he is mentioned in the franchise's lore as one of the imprisoned villains on the Isle. The main villains in the movie Descendants 2 are the sea witch Uma (daughter of Ursula), her crew members Harry Hook (son of Captain Hook) and Gil (son of Gaston), and also Maleficent's daughter, Mal, briefly, when she struggles with her villainous nature. See more Ash P @AshParth Dec 17 Was this the worst Disney direct-to-DVD sequel as I thought it was? Well, it is still bad, but there were far worse sequels down the line. Maybe down in the bottom three. We'll see when I rank each direct-to-DVD sequel. This had more mixed moments than how much one character made me frustrated at times. I wouldn't bother wanting to watch it again unless you invite me to roast this one. So I'm gonna give this movie two cursed angry Shang faces out of ten. 2/10. Yeah, this is me towards Mushu. See more Aug 6 I love this movie while other people hated it! See more thiago s @Thiagostone Aug 4 Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são fracas, a história é fraca, o elenco é fraco, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom See more Read all reviews
