The Muppets perform the classic Dickens holiday tale, with Kermit the Frog playing Bob Cratchit, the put-upon clerk of stingy Ebenezer Scrooge (Michael Caine). Other Muppets -- Miss Piggy, Gonzo, Fozzie Bear and Sam the Eagle -- weave in and out of the story, while Scrooge receives visits from spirits of three Christmases -- past, present and future. They show him the error of his self-serving ways, but the miserable old man seems to be past any hope of redemption and happiness.

Vastly enjoyable despite the syrupy, soppy song bit in the middle (go make a glass of mulled wine during it). Michael Caine is perfect in the role and there are many genuine belly laughs.

Watched The Muppet Christmas Carol this year. This is a Muppet Movie. It is about Scrooge and how he has three spirits come to him to figure out the meaning of Christmas. The quality is good. The puppeteering is amazing and elegant and the feel of this movie is great. Overall I would rate this movie a 4.5 out of 5 stars. My favorite scene is when the spirit of the present meets Scrooge. I would recommend this movie.

Quite frankly, it's absolutely bollocks that this has anything less than 100%. The people who have given this less are heartless a-holes. This is absolutely the SECOND BEST christmas film of all time, after the Snowman. You would be a f***ing idiot not to watch it.

This movie was my favorite childhood film! The charming comedic elements and likable characters from the muppets make this, in my opinion, the best retelling of Charles Dickens novel! This is a great Christmas movie and a must watch!
