In 1375, when a group of Korean diplomats arrive in a politically fraught China, they are quickly denounced as spies, banished to an isolated desert and left for dead. As they forge their way home, they come across a vicious pack of Mongolian warriors, who have captured the elegant princess Bu-yong (Ahn Sung-ki). Despite the cruelty they suffered, these brave Korean men, lead by Choi Jung (Joo Jin-mo), decide to battle the brutes to rescue the kidnapped princess and return her to her kingdom.
