Audience Member Musicwood Documentary Sustainable business practices like environmental conservation have gained lots of attention from environmentalists and other stakeholders worldwide. Musicwood is a sporadic type of video or documentary that combines different characters and scenes that excellently discuss a special environmental issue, making an individual view it severally. Environmentalists and people who care about the entire world's environment and sustainability will find the documentary worth watching more than once. The main parties in the documentary are the Native American corporation, the Guitar makers, and Greenpeace. The environmental issue is the use of rare types of wood (Old Sitka Oaks) to make acoustic guitars. Therefore, there is the challenge of deforestation for trees related to old Sitka oaks, causing a reaction to the Native American Corporation and Greenpeace, among other vital stakeholders. The Native American corporation is meant to protect the ancestral Alaskan land from facilitating its sustainability for numerous decades to come. The Guitar makers such as Gibson want to have a continuous supply of Sitka oaks. Greenpeace aims to protect the temperate rainforest. However, under the Native American corporation, Sealaska can destroy or finish up the rainforest (Alaska's Tongass National Forest) if it continues with its current logging and deforestation rates. In such a scenario, all the parties depending on the rainforest will suffer if the rainforests are destroyed. Greenpeace's collaboration and the different organizations' CEO to fight against unsustainable foresting practices adequately helps the documentary film how environmental conservation is a complex issue. Different stakeholders have varying or conflicting interests in the environmental elements, such as Alaska's Tongass National Forest. The participation of musicians like Kaki King and Steve Earle, coupled with the entire excellent cinematography, informs why it is important for every individual to take the initiative about environmental conservation and fight against unsustainable practices. Maxine Trump's film resonates with most people by focusing on critical environmental issues such as forestry harvesting. I would give the documentary's filming and its storyline a score of around 95 percent success rate.
