Jake Rosser is haunted by PTSD from his days as a K-9 officer and endeavors to lead a peaceful life with his family and retired K-9 companion, Socks. Despite some illogical plot beats, Muzzle: City Of Wolves works in most ways. The cast is great, especially Eckhart as the brooding hero.

This might not represent a comeback for Aaron Eckhart, but it should attract viewers wanting to see a more serious and meditative action thriller, or at least those who want to see humans and dogs working together to take out bad guys.

Very exciting action thriller- and great performances by Aaron Eckhardt and the supporting actors. His relationship with his dogs is touching and very believable, and the dogs are just amazing! Eckhardt embodies an Everyman James Bond anti-hero. Great cinematography, a pitch-perfect score, and edge-of-your seat action and special effects!

(Mauro Lanari) An absurd film isn't a flaw in itself: once past a certain threshold, you enter experimental cinema even unintentionally. In this sequel, Stalberg reaches heights of narrative fragmentation and cluttered editing that go beyond Malick, who nonetheless follows an underlying logic. Anything but a revenge movie, it reaches an extreme level of hallucinated and hallucinating unpredictability, as if we were inside the PTSD of a protagonist yet still compelled to make the right moral choices. Pleasantly unsettling and, incredible but true, even devoid of protagonists with postpartum depression.

This is mostly a confused, messy bit of tripe with no apparent purpose, message or appeal. Eckhart and Van Graan are certainly competent in their roles, but the script is absurd, the plot has holes the size of Tycho, characters are introduced and never worked into the story and there seems to be no natural sequence to the scene layout. I really wanted to like it (who doesn't love heroic dogs in movies) but this is definitely one to skip.
