Tightly buttoned psychiatrist Susan Lane (Rosalind Russell) resists the romantic overtures of freewheeling cartoonist Michael Kent (Lee Bowman), whose popular comic strip advocates giving in to one's desires. While attempting to treat suicidal Allura (Adele Jergens), a single woman who is convinced that every man who kisses her will die, Dr. Lane gets caught up in a convoluted plot hatched by her own puckish father (Charles Winninger) to trick her into marrying Kent.

Vic S This is by far one of the funniest movies I’ve seen in years. My wife and I talked and laughed about before going to sleep. We are definitely seeing it again. Great acting, writing and punch lines, bar non. Everyone played their part. They did their jobs by making a best seller. It’s a must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/05/25 Full Review Read all reviews
