12/03/2016 I watched this for free accidentally because Netflix currently has it wrongly labelled. I want my money back. It's just awful. It doesn't deserve the 4.8/10 IMDB rating. The story progression is so slow. Mainly due to there being no story. The acting is awful. The characters are poor, obnoxious brothers an unnecessarily drunk head teacher, a chain smoking teacher. The editing is awful. Unnecessary shots just to drag out scenes. No overall point to the story or morale messag. Apparently it's OK to steal a laptop from a hospital, steal bikes, and ride for free on trains. The end was the most single disappointing climax I've witnessed. What was the point? 1.5 hours of life I'll never get back. What a waste of talent like Brenda Blethyn, Timothy Spall and Mel Smith. Watch 'Millions' instead, a truly great, Christmas film. If you've already seen it, watch it again rather than this, it's awful. See more Read all reviews
