I was expecting from the description a rather sad and depressing film. It was neither. But it's not a film for everyone. It's a story well told and very well played out. Interesting characters, gorgeous setting, cool dog, and an excellent story. I would love to see more films like this in the world but Hollywood doesn't have the patience or insight to do something as exquisite as this. Thank you to all who contributed to the making of this treasure. I absolutely loved it.

Great concept! Alas, Simmons was so stilted and boring that it took all the work on the part of the other actors just to keep the piece afloat.
