Audience Member Absolutely adorable. Yes, the movie has its dings. It's a bit uneven and provides for a bumpy ride at times. But despite that, we get a great performance by Jones and some of Foreman's best work. She absolutely makes the movie, and the character seems so natural for her, I wondered if there wasn't a great deal of ad-libbing going on. Either David Beaird is a genius comedy writer or Foreman is a genius comedian. Or perhaps both. I just wish they had worked together more. Sorry, gotta go. Gonna watch it again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review randy w I grew up watching this movie. I could watch it over and over again. The star of Valley Girl meets Flash Gordon that also introduces us to Penn and Teller. What more do you want lol. It is a low budget film with a predictable plot, but with so many scenes that are just laugh out loud, a hoot. Debra Foreman is effervescent perky, so charming annd funny. It's not your average movie. It's not a bad film by any means and it's not one of these polished main streamers. But it is funny and it is charming and Deborah Foreman should have been a bigger star. Also check out some of her other movies including Valley girl, April fool's Day, Waxworks Just to name a few of my favorites Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review jon c 1980s comedy starring Deborah Foreman A limousine service has hired its first female driver Casey Meadows by EG Marshall as Mr. Witherspoon who handpicked her because she resembles the love of his life from years ago As expected it shakes things up; the rest of the male drivers are upset by the change After all they've gotten so used to the level of testosterone the idea of a woman is preposterous But she meets her quota with her first job and is on her way to the big leagues Casey's biggest client is Sam J. Jones as Battle Witherspoon, an executive businessman who's still in the process of stalking his ex They don't have quite the compatibility as driver and client but as time goes on they start to fully recognize each other's side of things Most of all they fall in love Battles father basically wants him to shape up and stop being a workaholic Deborah Foreman is freaking excellent, I love the music in this, there's a healthy dosage of laughs, Penn & Teller also take up a big portion of this although it kinda detracts from the main narrative But I also really like EG Marshall as the wealthy limousine business owner, his heart is warm and his son could use some of that reassessing of himself There's some funny plot twists near the end that are kinda hilarious too Foreman really makes the movie soar with her goofy nature not letting anyone tell her how to do her job or take orders Funny, charming, endearing with a hint of 1940s comedy antics Nothing outstanding but a decent watch for a 1980s sex comedy Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Great and funny, sexy movie, a must see for all Sam J. Jones Fans.... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Light-hearted and fun. Always a great pick-me-up. Deborah Foreman is fantastic. I've watched this so many times I have it memorized. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I adore this movie. It has so many fun and memorable lines and such clever comedy. Deborah Foreman fills the screen in this film and provides a delightful romp. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
