      Sarah G. P Terrible film! From the writing to the set design to the acting, it read low budget and lack of commitment. The writing was incredibly awkward with poor dialogue and a storyline that was shallow and lacking in direction. There were also so many characters whose role wasn't explained and storylines that went nowhere (ex., the pastry chef Lorenzo who had some sort of insider knowledge but did nothing with it). The kitchen of a supposed high-end hotel in Italy was like a minimalist stage set with the actors moving stiffly around the space, handling equipment and food like props rather than at the frenetic pace expected in a commercial kitchen. The dining room of this "award-winning" restaurant looked like something you'd see in a high school production. The acting by all but Jack Parr was either stilted or over-emoted. There was absolutely zero chemistry between the male and female "romantic" leads, so when a love declaration comes at the end, it makes zero sense. The "villains" were absolute caricatures, with the Razzie Award going to the actress playing "the snake." All in all, a waste of 1 1/2 hours.
