Steve D I didn't find it the least bit amusing. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 06/27/23 Full Review Martin B A shallow, superficial annoying movie best represented by Kenan Wynn who seems to be present in most of the scenes making quips and silly asides to know point while the other actors are advancing the plot such as it is. Idling along for most of the movie it races to a fever pitch at the end with manufactured tension clumsily represented as romantic comedy to the obvious end. Early in the careers of Kirk Douglas and Loraine Day neither of which was ready to do the comedy portion of this romantic comedy and the rest of the cast a bunch of serial, lower level over actors. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/21/23 Full Review kevin w Kirk Douglas as a womanizing author of romance novels, who's field of play is his own apartment where he woos the latest batch of secretaries he "hires" as he creates his next book. Keenan Wynn has the impossible task as Douglas' best friend and ... umm, comic relief, maybe. Laraine Day has the impossible task of selling us that she doesn't mind the out-of-control woman hating in this feature. No doubt this can be seen as some sort of cultural curiosity, or under-the-table commentary, but I didn't like it. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review razvan p and KD doesnt even shine Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member You know how it will end just by reading the title, but this is a funny and entertaining movie with a great cast, so it's worth seeing.
