Sure, the story is about as shallow as a puddle, but that's not the point, it's a fun movie that made me laugh and that's all that matters. To all the negative reviewers out there; movies are about entertainment, not checking boxes on a clipboard. YES it is as dumb and predictable as it sounds, but for a romance comedy, it isn't awful, and points that they tried something slightly different. Cinematography looks like a sitcom or soap opera. There is nothing special about the cast, although you will recognize some faces from the past, and Willard adds a bit of a deadpan Doc Brown element.
