Audience Member I liked the concept of this movie but my God, are these people really actors? What an absolute abomination! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I usually don't go for movies where a child is made the victim, this movie is no different. Hannah is a twin who's lost her sister to suicide. Unfortunately, 11-year old Hannah then becomes the focus of her parents' horrific abuse, both mental and physical, it's all the more tragic in that Hannah is autistic and doesn't speak. She finds a friend in a special education assistant at her school.. It's through this teacher that Hannah's behavior raises all kinds of red flags. The only bright spot in this movie is young Hannah played by actress Holly Jacobson. Her parents' acid tongued brutality is almost comical in some spots as they spew their hate at Hannah whose role called for lots of physical acting. There is also a dentist scene that would make even Dustin Hoffman cringe. This British made movie is difficult to watch for a good reason, and the real horror of this movie is that there are probably sick parents like this in real life. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/17/23 Full Review Audience Member Crap. What kind of parents is that? Unbelievable. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
