Audience Member Aimless 80's film about a daydreaming high school student. The first 20 minutes (25% of the movie!) go nowhere. Finally, we get the start of the main plotline as Adam's beaten high school teacher hands him a roll of film. I thought this would focus matters but viewers must wait another 15 minutes for that storyline to return and get some legs. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member Daydreaming youth and aspiring journalist is caught up in a complex conspiracy, with the object of his daydreams showing up mysteriously at his school. Rarely funny film does feature Darryl Hannah's sister in a prominent role. Barely released, but is offbeat enough to likely appeal to a few. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member This film simply doesn?t work. It?s a fantasy comedy that comes off extreme and not very funny. The cast tries, and Veronica Cartwright is actually pretty good, but with material like this it isn?t easy to shine. Far too few of the gags are funny.
