      phillip w A bit different from all others on the Studio Ghibli catalogue, this film is a contemplation of shorts surrounding a family's day-to-day life. It has simple and familiar stories to tell. I honestly reminded me of the simple family struggles seen on The Simpsons in their first few seasons. The animation is very simplistic when compared to many of the other films from the studio which helps set it apart as well. The stories they tell are a ones of a family that struggle with one another at times but will always be there for one another. The format of the film can make it difficult to watch it all the way through since there is nothing keeping you from stopping it between shorts. It seems to be media where you could see this as more of a show you would see on the weekdays and not something to be released as a full motion picture.
