Audience Member so my husband and I thought this would be a great movie to learn about the great lakes seeing that we live in Erie pa, which is a city connected to lake Erie. there is some information about it but its mostly about sturgeons which I'm sorry but I could care less about. if you want to lean about the great lakes don't waste your $$$ on this Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/28/23 Full Review Audience Member Great documentary with lots of good nature and beach shots. Not very interesting however, and not a good movie for kids. We've received very positive feedback from members, educators and the public about the importance of the film and about things they learned from the film." -- Ontario Science Centre, Toronto, Ontario "We have had an excellent response to Mysteries of the Great Lakes. Visitors of all ages enjoy the film immensely and really appreciate the portions of the film that deal directly with Presque Isle and the city of Erie. It makes the movie environment really 'real' for our visitors and brings the entire experience home." -- Holly Best, Assistant Park Manager, Presque Isle State Park, Pennsylvania "We opened MOTGL March 20th as part of a water conservation film series and over the first few months of the release, it has exceeded average attendance in each showing. We look forward to its continued success at the IMAX Theater through the fall." - Dan Kowal, World Golf Hall of Fame IMAX Theater "...when I saw this film I could not believe the things I was seeing and learning.
