This little family scifi flick has a lot going for it with some fantastic creature characters and a decent enough story. The acting/script plays on a lot of children's TV show styles that I never liked even growing up and the main "hero" is really a brat. If you can get past the silly dialogue and acting, Mystery Monsters! (aka Goobers!) isn't terrible.
