Myth of Man, falls into this category. Be aware, if you are only looking for entertainment, you might come away disappointed. This film challenges you to interpret it's meaning. There is no dialogue. The set design is avant guard. The score is haunting and beautiful. The acting is award worthy. Beneath it all, there is depth, sacrifice, and lessons to carry away.
