Richard Propes TheIndependentCritic.com It's nearly impossible to not admire Rea's ambitious effort here and one has to marvel at how much he was able to accomplish. Rated: 3.5/4.0 Sep 17, 2020 Full Review Matt Donato We Got This Covered Nailbiter is an independent horror film through and through, one that reaches for the stars yet only gets about halfway there. Kikavelity I still don't know what's that creature the plot was fine the effects was good but still my favorite movie Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/04/23 Full Review Audience Member Decent movie, good plot. With a bigger budget it could have been an amazing movie. They left it open to a sequel that almost needs to be made to tell the whole story. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun indie creature-feature. The filmmakers are wise and keep the creatures mostly in shadow that helps make the most of their sparse budget while also making them creepier. Good stuff. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member On paper, Nailbiter is actually pretty great. In practice though, the premise is let down by your average low-budget issues, the number one problem though, is the acting; ranging from regular-bad to laughably-bad, Nailbiter's acting calibre certainly detracts from what might have been an interesting and original horror. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review andy f Barely tolerable. It's ok while it is a straight thriller but the longer it goes on and the more it tries to be horror the worse it gets. By the end your main feeling will be relief that it's over. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review ken k This story in the hands of better film makers probably could have worked. Nothing worse than cheap effects shown briefly in quick flashes of light and choppy editing. Obviously trying to hide cheap Halloween effects to make them seem less phony. I'll bet they had some laughs in the editing room with this one. Time waster! Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 08/02/15 Full Review Read all reviews
