      Critics Consensus

The Nanny Diaries' miscast lead and unrealistic, one-dimensional characters make this class satire far less effective than it should've been.

Amir A Scarlett Johanssen is great In this and its a good watch. Paul Giamatti is a creep in this and Chris Evans can't take no for an answer plus Grayer(The Little Kid) is the worst I'm sorry he's annoying. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/10/24 Full Review Jessica A Charming and easy to watch. Happy to have stumbled upon it. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/26/24 Full Review Jason P Great movie, solid plot & characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/01/23 Full Review Maybe M This film reminds me of a modern version of "Downtown Girls". Although this may not be the most complicated film, it is good and easy to watch. Great actors and a nice comfy film. For those who are fans of Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans then this film is for you. It is a cutesy film of there's before of the two before they became A List superheroes. Laura Linney portrays an upper east side wife extremely well shows beautiful emotion when it comes to being neglected by her husband. Nicholas Art's (Grayer) performance was superb for a child actor and makes the film even better. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/31/23 Full Review Timothy D It's not ground breaking, but The Nanny Diaries provides enough chuckles to be worth the watch. The storyline is earnest and wins you over if you let it. Additionally, seeing Scarlett Johansson and Chris Evans in the same movie is always a treat. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 08/22/23 Full Review Giorgio G The only good thing about this movie is the presence of a young Scarlett, as the story is simply dumb and lame. On the comedy side it is only slightly funny, with big parts are rather annoying. 4 1/2 points out of 10! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 08/15/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Deborah Ross The Spectator What is this film about? Nothing. It's senseless and horrid, patronising to all women everywhere, and extremely tiresome.
