Simon T Superlative Dutch movie about a young family coming to terms with the sudden death of the father. Very little happens, but it's so delicately and truthfully directed and acted that it demands your attention throughout. In particular the performances of the children are wonderful - heartbreaking and often genuinely funny. It reminded me of the (very different) Spirit of the Beehive. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 09/20/24 Full Review bob m This was a beautiful movie with outstanding acting and really special camera work. Can't wait for its U.S. general distribution and DVD. The grief depictions were so realistic as was the slow reemergence. A must see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
