This "Lethal Weapon" spoof follows Los Angeles police officers Wes Luger (Samuel L. Jackson) and Jack Colt (Emilio Estevez) as they investigate the killing of fellow officer Sgt. Billy York (Whoopi Goldberg). On the strength of tips from stool pigeons like Becker (Jon Lovitz), Wes and Jack learn that the murder is linked to a plan by criminals Gen. Curtis Mortars (William Shatner) and Jigsaw (Tim Curry) to lace snack foods with hard drugs. They must stop the plot before it begins causing harm.

Much more of an imitation than it is an outright parody, Loaded Weapon 1 isn't short of the cartoon funkiness and hyperbolic explosiveness that makes the Lethal Weapon series so loved. In that regard, it doesn't feel too dissimilar to the real thing. It's got a great set of verbal and sight gags, cheap shots and sleazy comments which are impossible to catch all in one viewing, thanks to an absolutely stacked cast that features the likes of Emilio Estevez taking on the Martin Riggs role, Samuel L. Jackson as a Roger Murtaugh figure and then bloody William Shatner and Tim Curry as the villain and henchman respectively. With a suitably groovy soundtrack, it packs a lot into its swift 80-minute runtime and delivers a greatly stupid, silly and fun ride from start to finish. Oh and I guess this technically counts as Die Hard 2.5 because Bruce Willis appears in character as John McClane in a very fun cameo.

Filme bacana, o roteiro é bacaninha, o filme até que é engraçado, e faz paródias dos filmes como máquina mortífera, dirty harry, e duro de matar, as paródias são boas e teve a participação do bruce Wilis como o John mcClane, de resto o filme não consegue ter um diálogo engraçado e só as paródias salvam o filme. Eu recomendo só pelas paródias.
