Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review In terms of it being a family movie, as an elderly family member, it doesn't work for me. Nov 27, 2018 Full Review Robbie Collin Daily Telegraph (UK) Here is a festive poke in the eye for everyone who doubted the Nativity franchise had a fourth instalment in it, not least those of us who have yet to be persuaded it even had one. Rated: 2/5 Nov 23, 2018 Full Review Tara Brady Irish Times Marginally more tolerable than the last one. Rated: 2/5 Nov 23, 2018 Full Review Lisa Giles-Keddie HeyUGuys It really doesn't. Rated: 1/5 Nov 30, 2018 Full Review Edward Porter Sunday Times (UK) If you don't have a seasonal school play or a local panto to attend in the coming weeks, and you're weirdly desperate for something to fill the gap, then here you go. Rated: 2/5 Nov 27, 2018 Full Review Matthew Bond The Mail on Sunday (UK) Craig Revel Horwood plays an impresario who wants to make it all about Herod, which is tasteless but quite funny. Ava A worst film ever 1 2 and even 3 r better Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/02/24 Full Review Felix B went to watch it at the cinema back in 2018 and thought it was pretty rubbish. a bit of comedy but apart from that it was awful. A terrible way to end a series that was so good. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 11/06/23 Full Review Audience Member The worst 01 hour: and 40 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie sure ruins Christmas. Turns from a movie that all families across the country could watch and enjoy 5 times a day into a play for children to watch with awful actors, little relevancy, bland characters and feels like it was written, produced and directed by kids and the actual cast. If there was only one film you could watch in your life, save it for something that isn't so bad Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review r 9 An upgrade on the preceding sequel, that's for sure. I don't actually dislike 'Nativity Rocks!', to be fair. It isn't good, or even close, but I do acknowledge what they attempt with this. The opening parts of the film are hit-and-miss, especially with the introduction of a new face. Simon Lipkin replaces Marc Wootton in the goofball role, coming in as the brother (Jerry) of the latter (Desmond). Early on, I found Lipkin's character very obnoxious. However, to my surprise, he actually grew on me by the end. Wootton isn't all that missed in truth. The story between Doru (Brian Bartle) and his father (Ramin Karimloo) is fairly hearty, if a little ill-fitting for this type of film. Ruth Jones, Hugh Dennis and Meera Syal are solid casts, while Helen George is a likeable addition. Overall it's poor, but for a third sequel - which follows an awful installment - it does an alright job. There are rumours of a fifth film coming in the future. I mean, I'd watch it as I'm a completionist but... Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member The children loved it, and as long as they love a movie, count me in.
