Kym M 08/13/2024 I wanted the at least like it. What a let down! I'm used to rubbish scripts and dialogue but the production values are pitiful. Read the book instead. See more 02/16/2015 Not A Bad Story. Had Some Initial Reservation As It Starts A Little Confusingly, But Gets There In The End. Reminded Me The Classic Low-Budget Excitment Of A 1960s Star Trek Episode. See more 08/16/2011 Hilariously bad in places, but it still has a couple of redeaming moments. Bad writing, terrible acting and awful special effects all add up to equal this piece of b-movie fun that's as frustrating as it is enjoyable. See more 09/19/2009 OK, I have seen this. The story isn't too bad, but is unoriginal....basically a time machine goes back to a point in time just before a giant explosion is scheduled that ruptures the earth's core and practically destroys the earth. The idea is to stop the explosion. In the end it turns out that the time machine (the Nautilus) actually caused the explosion. The movie is at times hilariosly bad! So much so that this movie could become a classic of badness: bad acting (if you can even call it acting), and a tragic dialog. Because it is so bad I'll just have to recommend it for a good laugh.
