Neeyat is a very inferior imitation of movies based on Agatha Christie novels. Most of the acting performances are cringeworthy and not credible. It's also fairly easy to figure out the killer's motive, even with all the plot distractions.

'Neeyat' might claim to be a Hindi film of 2023, but there’s little evidence in the film to prove it. Given its vague allusions to the real world, like most of its contemporaries, Menon’s film feels like it belongs everywhere and nowhere.

Not horrible - a few good suprises here and there, but overall the movie loses you in its lengthy and unnecessarily elongated plot. The cast is good, and the asthetic of the movie seems heavily inspired from Agatha Christie novels (which is a good thing). The end reveal is good, but there are a lot more characters than needed. Still, it's a step in the right direction for Indian cinema, and I'm hoping they follow this one with better written locked room mysteries.

I loved it! A really cool retelling of the Agatha Christie style. Some people are complaining just because one of the most important characters is a queer woman. Silly people! The movie is so much fun!
