Audience Member another good example of the type of melodramas hollywood cranked out in the '30's. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member It's an interesting looking film, but it's rather on the slow side, and it doesn't have the most entertaining characters. But there are some neat moments, some classy film styles, and an overall satisfying ending. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member 5.5/10. Reasonably good production, fine costumes. It's a little too talky, and it's not bad, but I didn't always stay interested. It's okay. Nothing great. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie is okay, it's not great, but I sort of liked it. I especially liked how it ended. Other than that it was just okay. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Reasonably good production, fine costumes. It's a little too talky, and it's not bad, but I didn't always stay interested. It's okay. Nothing great. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Grossly overacted, almost campy, but interesting tale of an evil prison warden, the woman he loves, and the "other man" who has been exiled to Australia. Worth seeing for its historical value. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Read all reviews
