Intelligent look into a Adolescent almost adult sexual maturity and the state of PSYCHOLOGY understanding of the mature and teen girl séduction prowess of Jimmy Reardon. See more 06/06/2018 As I have gotten older, I start to see why this movie is as well thought of as I used to think of it. It was a flick my mom didn't know was R, so I watched the hell out of it. River Phoenix was my favorite actor at the time and consumed all things River. Plus, Ione Skye and Meredith Salenger... SO HOT! Side note it was because of this (Matthew Perry's film debut) & Leprechaun (Jen Aniston's Debut) that I started watching Friends. It's interesting and of course, River was spectacular at executing his character. I really enjoyed this film, there were funny moments as well as dramatic ones. It was a well-balanced, deep film.
