Here’s a real diamond in the rough. Great body-horror and a heartfelt parody / tribute to 1950s cheese, treat yourself to a wildly fun and rewarding horror-comedy that has much more quality than its surface elements imply.

This could have been a brilliant, funny and gory zombie comedy but it came out a bit boring. For the most part of the movie I was bored waiting for something to happen. It seemed tame and tacky. Then there were some funny bits and finally quite a gory ending (compared to what I was expecting given how little happens throughout most of the film). It could have been a lot better and is not to be compared to Braindead (1992) in any way. I was also a little disappointed by the lack of aliens except those little ones which reminded me of the far superior ones in Slither (2006). Anyways this is not really worth watching except for style research and occasional laughs. If you ignore the painfully slow start and dodgy eighties style then this is alright.

This movie has surprisingly great character development, really good makeup and a very interesting story. I can't quite believe it's a B movie, even with its weird and homage-full plot. This movie only suffers from not letting mayhem break loose, something Killer Klowns does really well, but maybe that's due to its budget.

just watched it for the first time. on par with gremlins but night of the creeps is probably the most clever movie of the 80s. It's hilarious but the gore is great for the time. loved it!!
