Night of the Reaper is worth watching around Halloween but could have used a less twist-oriented screenplay to get the job done. Go to Full Review

While it owes plenty to ’80s slashers, it carves out a comfortable place in the current slasher renaissance and strikes mystery, intrigue, and mayhem in equal doses. Go to Full Review

Night of the Reaper is a true mixed bag. Strangely, its writing is its biggest flaw and plus, while the directing lends it an uncomfortable atmosphere. Go to Full Review

Jeepers C Nov 28 This movie wasn't bad, but wasn't the anywhere close to some of the other horror movies , that I seen this year. It had a few creepy well done scenes, but all the dog killings put me off. See more Oz S Nov 22 The film nails a charming 80s vibe, and the use of old cassette tapes as a visual element adds a creative touch that fits perfectly with its retro spirit. It also takes a clever twist on the classic horror trope of characters making bad decisions, turning it into something playful instead of frustrating. It’s fun, smoothly paced, and the ending feels nicely satisfying. Overall, a good movie that blends nostalgia and smart humor in a refreshing way. See more Aldis H Nov 10 They could have made the third act more comprehensible, but it's a cool idea, and the rest of the movie has a strong queasiness about it. See more Jennifer C. @jennacrosbyy Nov 4 Loved it. Great plot twists and overall story. See more Nathan M. @FW260 Nov 1 WOW!! I loved this movie. It was a perfect watch on Halloween. See more Stephen G. @patient1 Oct 22 We have us an old-fashioned case of Horror who done it going on, and it doesn't look good for our local authorities. What a vile person this Killer is, too bad our main character is an amazing thinker. I hate to say it, but I'm very impressed with this "who done it" film. They actually had from the go, and I'm very surprised and freaking overjoyed at the outcome... See more Read all reviews
